Feudal Lords...

In elections on January 10, 2007 in Bajaur Agency Pakistan,

women were stopped from casting their votes by Awami National

Party (ANP).Because they don’t allow women to vote,imagine in 21st

century still there is some place in the world where women are second

class citizen because of gender.

Feudal lords like Asfandyar Wali Khan President of Awami National

Party (ANP) are the second biggest hurdle after the

Jamaat-e-Islami, in the empowerment of Pakistani women. They keep women in shuttlecock veils just like Taliban had in Afghanistan. They don’t allow girls to go to schools, so forget about the colleges?

Asfandyar Wali Khan and his father Khan Abdul Wali Khan has a

history of anti-Pakistani activities. As a result he has been criticized

for backing separatist ideals as well as causing social unrest in

Pakistan. Their whole family is always against the Pakistan and its

constitutions. They never have any constructive roles in the history of

the country rather then destructive. They always want to get

separated from Pakistan and try to make separate states, like the

province which will be named Pakhtunwa or Pakhtunistan. He also

opposed to speak the National language Urdu in his province.

So if we need educated, secular and liberal Pakistan, so we have to

get rid of Qazi Hussain Ahmad and Asfandyar wali khan kind of

conservative leaders.
