Jamaat-e-Islami: Foe Or Friend Of Pakistan's Women?

Jamaat-e-Islami, an Islamic political movement founded in  August 26, 1941, today it’s one of
the largest religious parties of Pakistan. And being a President of largest Islamic religious party
Qazi Hussain and his companion doing everything that keeps Pakistani women under  “MEN
ORDER“ just like world order. They’re always putting  obstacles in the way of  Pakistani women's liberty. They even don't let girls go to regular schools, in fear that maybe Women of Pakistan
will modernise. They're pushing them to attend MADRASA.  Sometimes Qazi Hussain  say “it’s
important to do hijab in schools”. And sometimes they're just saying the ridiculous things like,
“domestic violence is a private issue and if a women is a good wife, why will anyone want to beat
or burn her?"

About 82 percent of women in rural Punjab, feared violence resulting from husband's anger
over slight matters. In the most urbanized areas of Pakistan, fifty-two percent women confessed
being beaten by husbands. Husbands or in-laws interfere with gas stoves so the cooker
explodes in the face of a woman as she turns it on to cook. In these cases murders are made to
look like suicides and are concealed by husbands. While killings are not usually sanctioned in
the laws of the land, judges often deliver littlest sentences. Mostly the injury is stamp out to a
technical fault in the cooker. There are new burning cases everyday. The majority of women
don't make it.

So what I’m trying to ask Jamaat-e-Islami is, "Are all women defiant, dire and indecorous to
men? And suppose if they are, so husband can give divorce; get separated; send woman to her
home, but directly he’s burning her, murdering her and sending her from this world. Your saying
wives are not good so why can’t wives complaint that their husbands are not benevolent, kind or
attentive?" All because the Pakistani wives are compromising and polite. The harmless wife,
takes care of his home, cooks, mops and tries to keep him contented but argumentative
husband keeps complaining and doesn't reward her with love or care. He just gives her death.

In November 1997, Mussarrat Bibi, a pregnant woman and mother of three, was beaten to
death by villagers who  had  so called religious belief  against adultery   because of  some false
rumors of her immoral behavior. Actually the real reason for her death was that she had
refused to work for local landlords without payment, so they spread the rumors.

What kind of society Qazi hussain  and his party want to create where the husbands, brothers,
even fathers show such inhumanity towards their own daughters, sisters, wifes and even
mothers, in the name of social, religious, or family values. Women are deserted, her existence
means nothing to the men of  Pakistan and she has nowhere to hide.

It’s up to the readers to decide that Jamaat-e-Islami is foe or friend of women of Pakistan. But if
you ask me,  all Jamaatis (Members are often referred to as Jamaatis) whether it's Qazi
Hussain Ahmad, Liaqat Baloch or Khurshid Ahmad they’re definitely the biggest enemy of
Pakistani women’s liberty and success.

Dear Women of Pakistan,
Keep Dreaming! Your dreams can come true.  Never say
"impossible". There's nothing impossible in this Universe!
"I belong to a country where you
can find talent, natural
resources, four seasons but all of
these are under the command of
men. Where women are the
second-class citizens. Where
women as a daughter seeks
permission from father; as a
sister from brother; as a wife
from husband and as a mother
from son to do any work. There
are no rights for women as an
individual and that country is
Pakistan  where women
discriminates everywhere in the
country. And this all happen
because of influence of false
religion which is observed and
preach by most evil religious
parties, in which, Jamaat-e-
Islami is the top most. President
of Jamaat-e-Islami misguiding
our men on the name of religion,
that keep your girls, sisters,
wives inside the house. Don’t let
them go schools, colleges, just
keep them busy to give multiple
births; keep busy for laundries;
kitchen work, in fact just keep
her away from every
opportunities and keep them
lower then men.

But I decided to do whatever
possible for my fellow Pakistani
women who need liberty from
these religious parties like
Jamaat-e-Islalami. I decided to
fight for Pakistani women’s
liberty through my writings. I
thought about it many times and
tried to do this from Pakistan
but I was afraid from these
religious terrorists who are
everywhere in my neighborhood,
my family and in friends. But
now I am in United States of
America where regardless of
gender  everybody have freedom
for speech and expressions, not
to forget peace of mind and
safety.

Liberty4PakistaniWomen is a
caring movement with collection
of social theories,  and moral
philosophies, largely motivated
by or concerned with the
liberation of women from men
domination. A large portion of
this movement are especially
concerned with what they
perceive to be the social, political
and economic inequality
between the sexes which favors
the male gender. This movement
dealing with important  issues
such as reproductive rights,
including the right to safe
abortion by their own will,
access to contraception and
quality prenatal care,  protection
from violence within a domestic
partnership, sexual harassment,
street harassment,
discrimination and
rape.                My fellow
Pakistani women! This is a
revolutionary mission and this is
your obligation towards
Pakistani women that spread my
message to other women who
can't read or who aren't able to
reach or read my messages, tell
them that resist against these
religious culprits. I'm sure we'll
change our men dominated
society.
